The Pestana Group has created a virtual character called "Bartolomeu" which aims to streamline the facebook pages of Pestana Hotels & Resorts and Pousadas de Portugal. Though virtual, Bartholomeu can be considered the newest staff member of the Pestana family, whose main job will to present all the great new initiatives in pipeline for the two pages. The first one, "The summer holidays of my life", was launched yesterday and will run through till the 22nd of June.
To participate all that’s required is to upload a picture, video or original text describing your best ever summer holidays. After a minimum of 1000 likes, the fan who has the most likes during the campaign wins an amazing full 7 day stay at any of the Pestana hotels or Pousadas.
But that’s not all! The 2nd, 3rd and 4th runners up also win a fantastic one night stay at the unit of their choosing. The winners will be announced on the page’s wall 2 days after the contest’s conclusion.
