The Pestana Hotel Group is taking action to reduce the impacts of Covid-19 on the community. 

  • Rest for Heroes

    Effective use of the Pousadas da Cidadela de Cascais and the Pousada de Queluz by health professionals in the respective areas: Cascais and Amadora Sintra. 


    Registration of several hotels (Pestana Goldsmith, Pestana CR7, Pestana Cascais, Pestana Viking and Pestana Studios) and four Pousadas (Lisbon, Viana, Viseu and Beja) for the Employment and Social Security Ministry programmes and the Lisbon City Council programme to accommodate professionals, people in self-isolation and patients.

  • Equipment Support

    Equipment and materials donated, including 20 ventilators to Madeira's health organisations and individual sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and caps to SESARAM.


    Supply of various materials to hospitals and health services in Lisbon, Setúbal, Vila Nova de Foz Coa and Viseu.

    Provision of space at the Pestana Cidadela, in Cascais, to the Novo Futuro Association for the sale of masks to the community, as part of an initiative by Cascais City Council.

  • Support with Meals

    Donation of meals to various associations and organisations, including, in the Algarve: Tavira Humanitarian Centre, Estoi Parish Council and Estoi Food Bank, Vila do Bispo Soup Kitchen and Sagres Nursing Home. In Madeira, Aldeia da Paz Foundation, C.A.S.A. and Bom Jesus Health Centre. 


    In Lisbon, daily donation of meals cooked at the Pestana Palace as part of the Pestana volunteering project with the João13 Association, and donations to Academia Johnson, Estrela Parish Council and Alcântara Social and Parish Centre.
