  • What is PPG?

    PESTANA PRIORITY GUEST is the loyalty programme for Pestana Hotel Group Customers which includes the Pestana Hotels & Resorts, Pousadas de Portugal, Pestana Collection Hotels and Pestana CR7 brands. This programme allows points to be earned for each stay or meal at participating hotels.

  • How can I join?

    You can sign up to the Priority Guest Programme here, in any hotel or pousada, through our Contact Centre and during the booking process at www.pestana.com.

  • What are the programme options and benefits?

    The programme has five levels: PPG SILVER, basic level, accessible for free by all Customers; PPG GOLD, after reaching 20,000 points in 2 years or after making 10 bookings in 1 year, with additional benefits, such as VIP treatment; PPG PLATINUM after reaching 50,000 points in 2 years or 15 bookings within 1 year, with access to even more discounts and benefits than the previous step; PPG DIAMOND with top benefits and advantages obtained through direct purchases; PPG CORPORATE under agreements with partner companies. All reservations must be made through the direct Pestana channels (website, Hotel, Pousada or Contact Centre) to be entitled to discount privileges.

  • CARD | Is there any cost associated with the card?

    SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM and CORPORATE cards are free and have no annual fee. The DIAMOND card is paid for only once at the time of purchase. For access to the Platinum and Gold versions, you need to complete the minimum amount of eligible purchases to obtain points or a minimum number of stays in a one year period.

  • CARD | When will I receive my card?

    The Pestana Priority Guest card will be sent to your address after the second stay or once you have earned 3,000 points. Up to that point, you’ll be able to enjoy all PPG benefits by providing your membership number. Learn how many points you have at the moment, by

  • CARD | If I don’t have my card number at check-in or during my stay, what do I do?

    No problem. Just state that you are the cardholder and we'll look up your membership number using your personal details. This way, your points will be credited, and you'll be closer to enjoying free stays.

  • POINTS | How do I earn points?

    You will earn points for every stay booked through our direct channels (website, hotels, pousadas or Contact Centres) or for purchases made in our bars and restaurants. Bookings not made through our direct channels are entitled to 250 points per night. If the booking is made under special conditions, e.g. group bookings, no points will be earned.

  • POINTS | When will my points be credited?

    Points are credited after the stay (check-out), and may take up to 5 days to be seen on your balance. If after this period the points are not seen, you may request credit through your personal profile.

  • POINTS | Where can I check my points?

    All information on your point balance, as well as promotions and exclusive privileges are available at
    www.pestana.com, after completing your LOGIN or on the Pestana Priority Guest Line (+351) 210417088.

  • POINTS | How do I make a reservation with points?

    A minimum of 18,000 points are needed to exchange points for a 1-night stay (this number varies depending on the establishment and the time of the year). Bookings using points are available
    here or by telephone via the Pestana Priority Guest Line: (+351) 210 417 088.

  • POINTS | Can I make a reservation using my points year-round?

    Yes! That’s one of the great advantages of the programme. Subject to hotel room availability, you may make a reservation year-round, including Summer, Easter and New Year's.

  • POINTS | Can I use points at any other hotel/pousada?

    Yes, accumulated points are valid at any hotel and pousada in the Loyalty Programme, regardless of where they were earned.

  • POINTS | What is the validity of points?

    Points will be valid for 2 years after they are earned; after that period they are automatically deducted from your account in the next to last day of the expiration month.

  • Can I accumulate or spend points with partners?

    We are continuously working to establish new partnerships with other companies that allow us to give Pestana Priority Guest members even more benefits. As and when those partnerships are established, we will inform all PPG members via email and will include the information here.

  • POINTS | I booked without joining the Programme. Can I get points?

    Register right away here and get your membership number automatically. When you arrive at check-in, be sure to mention it so that the points from your stay are credited to your card.

  • POINTS | Points have not been credited to me. How can I request them?

    Points may take up to 5 working days to be credited. However, if they have not been credited, you may request them up to 3 months after the date of your stay, by accessing your personal account, in the “Claim Points” option, available after
    logging in.

  • PASSWORD & EMAIL | I lost my password, how can I recover it?

    You may recover your password in the LOGIN area at the top the homepage under “forgot your password”. Just enter the email you have registered and click on the link to recover your password. Your password will be sent to the email address.

  • PASSWORD & EMAIL | I can’t remember the email I used to sign up to the programme. What do I do?

    If you have the card number you can
    login with that information. If you don't have your card number, send an email to priority.guest@pestana.com or contact the Pestana Priority Guest helpline on (+351) 210 417 088.
