Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the headquarters of the European Union (Parliament, Commission and Council in the European Quarter/Schuman). It is known for the Grand-Place, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Manneken Pis (in the fountain since 1619), its gastronomic icons (chocolate, waffles, fries, mussels, beers), its Art Nouveau architecture (Victor Horta) and for being the European capital of comics. The Pestana Brussels Schuman is located in the heart of the European Quarter.
