Running along the Casablanca waterfront, La Corniche provides picnic areas, plenty of restaurants, ice cream parlours, exotic clubs and hotels, children’s playgrounds, clubs and cinemas. You can go for a stroll or run and enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The oldest area in the city is a hectic grand bazaar where people haggle over products such as leather crafts, jewels, carpets, scents or spices. In its maze of alleys, there are cafés and restaurants for you to regain your energy.
A magnificent example of Islamic architecture, the Palace is set amidst orange trees and water features. As a royal residence, it is generally closed to visitors. However the magnificence of the place and the detailed work on the doors can be admired from the outside.
