The Pestana Miramar, surrounded by
6,000 m2 of tropical gardens, is a 4-star hotel in Funchal, close to the beach and a 15 minute-walk from the centre of Funchal. It is located on the old Funchal manor with incredible views of the city, the port and the bay.

The Pestana Miramar is a Garden & Ocean Hotel with 45 Superior Studios, 9 family rooms and 4 suites.
It’s no surprise that it’s so peaceful here, as these suites are located in an old house from 1924 and the remaining rooms are located within the gardens.

In your spare time, visit our library, play in the Club Room, book a relaxing Magic SPA massage and even go to the swimming pool area. The little ones can play in the playground, next to the children’s swimming pool and enjoy the Kids Club space, also available during school holidays.

DESTINATION AND LOCATION
Madeira is known worldwide for its New Year's celebrations. If you prefer to come in June, you can watch the equally magnificent fireworks for the Festival do Atlântico. If you choose April–May, it is the renowned Festa da Flor, with flower carpets, expositions, shows and the main attraction—the colourful parade, which brings much joy to the island.
You can spend all of your pent-up energy on hikes along fantastic paths and trails, or you can release it taking brisk swims in the middle of the Atlantic. If you go out in search of whales or dolphins, on one of the many boat trips, you will likely stop at one of several coves and dive straight into the contrasting greens and blues of this breathtaking island.
